Water Screen Utility Requirements
Renting a water screen? Learn care and feeding instructions here:

Rigging: Our screens rig easily from standard 12" or larger box truss. We recommend truss to provide adequete mass to resist motion upon startup / shutdown of the screen. Picks are required for the water supply / data loom, as it is important to hide the 'infrastucture' to retain the magic of the effect. Similarly, the truss should have teasers to conceal the internal plumbing and wiring.

Power: Our system can operate from either 208V 3-Phase, or 220-240V single phase. Most systems are supplied with a standard T5 twistlock input to feed the distro ( 30A, 208V, 3-Phase ). Larger screens require multiple T5, or standard cam-lok. Allow for 10A of 220V service per 10' of screen.

Water: A standard hose connection is required to fill the resevoir basin. The system is completely self-contained once filled, and would only require a top-off for a long-term installation. Access to a drain is required to empty the basin -- we provide pumps to accelerate the process.

Air-Circulation: Large HVAC systems can degrade screen quality and limit trim height. Consider closing vents near the screen, or bypassing zones when possible. This is less important with screens less than 20 feet in height, but should always be considered in any pre-show planning.

General: The screen is quiet and splashless. The venue and surrounding area is left clean and dry.
